The BFG

Key Stage 1 had an amazing start the half term. We had a special guest called Anthony Pedley in who did an exclusive and very special performance of Roald Dahl’s Classic, The BFG. This was to kick start our special Roald Dahl week in school. Look how amazing his props were:

Keep  looking this week for our own work about another classic, Fantastic Mr Fox!

We have the Reading Bug!!!

In Team 3 we have some fantastic readers and we have the reading bug! Children have been bringing in their favourite books from home and we’ve been reading them at the end of each day. Kayla started the trend off with one of her favourites and since then, we can’t stop the books rolling in – WE LOVE IT! Take a sneak peek at some of the books we’ve read so far:

Team 3 – keep bringing them in!

E-Safety Drop-In!

Team 3 had their E-safety drop in this week. A huge thank you to Emily’s mum, Rijja’s mum and Isabelle’s mum who came to work with both Ethan and Isabelle.

We looked at how to stay safe online and not sharing our personal/private information online. We watched a video to show how important it is and even put some comments on our blog (super safely!)

If you missed the drop-in, don’t worry, there will be plenty to come to throughout the year. In the meantime, have a look at the video we watched to ensure you and your children stay safe online:
